FlightView EFIS 3.2.2

FlightView is an innovative Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS) tailored for experimental and light sport aircraft. The FlightView app transforms your iPad into a comprehensive flight display and touch-screen navigator, offering a range of contemporary flight and engine instruments, VFR navigation tools, and enhanced situational awareness.

Please Note: The FlightView app is designed to work in conjunction with the FlightView series of hardware components from Falken Avionics. While it is possible to explore FlightView without a FlightBox, the hardware is essential for aircraft operation.

Flight Instruments

• Primary Flight Display (PFD) features: Attitude Indicator, Altimeter, Airspeed Indicator, Vertical Speed Indicator, Slip/Skid Indicator, G Meter, HSI (Heading Indicator), Outside Air Temperature (OAT), True Airspeed, Density Altitude, GPS Course, GPS Ground Track, GPS Ground Speed, GPS Altitude, Flight duration, Local & Zulu time, Altitude/Airspeed/VSI/heading bugs

Navigation Tools

• Multifunction Display (MFD) includes: Moving Map, Nearest airport finder, Direct-To navigation, Multi-point Flight Plan, Airport Diagrams & Instrument Approach Plates/Procedures, Visual flight planning (drag/tap), US controlled/special use airspace info, Database of US airports/nav-aids/fixes, Detailed base maps, Street Map mode, ETA/ETE

Situational Awareness

• ADS-B NEXRAD radar / METAR/flight category display / traffic detection / alerts for airspace/terrain/profile view/engine anomalies/fuel tank switches/Waypoint-destination/runway and obstacle monitoring

VHF Communications

• Nearby airport frequencies/plans/recent frequencies/one-touch set for active airport/supports two radios (COM1/COM2)

Autopilot Integration

• Lateral control for digital autopilots (NMEA)/navigation output with SmartTurn overshoot prevention/full remote control of TruTrak Vizion/BendixKing xCruze autopilots

Transponder Integration

• Remote control of Trig TT21/TT22 transponders for IDENT/mode/squawk configuration
